How to secure your date

By paying a booking fee for your event, you are indicating your agreement to the following terms of service:

1. The date is not secured until a booking fee is paid. The booking fee is 50% of the total quote. 

2. The booking fee is refundable less any administrative fees or the booking may be amended where greater than four (4) weeks notice of change is given. Preferred dates for amended bookings may not be guaranteed.  

3. The total quote, less the value of the booking fee is due fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the date of service. Leanne Williams reserves the right to cancel the service and retain the booking fee and any other payments received if the total is not paid by the due date.

4. Leanne Williams reserves the right to retain the booking fee and charge the full service fee if the booking is cancelled within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of service.

Additional temporary COVID-19 cancellation policy

1. Bookings may be amended within seven days on one occasion without penalty as a result of COVID-19 circumstances. COVID-19 circumstances are limited to:

   i. A change in local, state or federal Government restrictions preventing the event from going ahead.

   ii. A change in local, state or federal Government restrictions preventing makeup services from being undertaken.

2. Leanne Williams reserves the right to cancel services, retain the deposit and charge the remainder of the payment if the client is displaying symptoms of COVID-19 and has not attempted to amend their booking.

Illness and hygiene expectations

Hygiene is already the most important thing in the makeup industry. My standards are already meticulously high, this is something that I am very passionate about. I sanitise my hands and my kit regularly during the makeup application. Brushes are freshly washed and clean for each individual. For larger groups some brushes are thoroughly sanitised between individuals.

I will not under any circumstances apply makeup to someone who is unwell. I will also not conduct my services if I become unwell. I will contact you immediately. I will do everything I can to find a replacement artist if rescheduling is not an option. I understand that this risk is monumental to planning events such as your wedding, given the time you may take to select your artist, however I trust my clients will also understand the need to manage the risk of spreading illness to our loved ones. 

What I ask of you

1. If you or anyone in your bridal party are unwell, please reschedule your booking.

2. You must wash your hands thoroughly before coming to have your makeup applied.

3. Please avoid touching your face, phone or personal items during your makeup application.

Ancilliary charges such as parking may be incurred in addition to the quoted amount. 

Travel charges apply for events outside the ACT border.
